Nearly half of Americans don't trust President Trump at all on climate risk

Presented with President Donald Trump as a source of information about climate risk, nearly half of Americans (49%) say they do not trust him at all, according to a June 2026 Verasight survey.
Another 15% are neutral, and about a quarter (24%) express some degree of trust, including 9% who say they trust him completely. Smaller shares distrust him to a milder degree, 7% mostly not and 4% partly not.
