In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted in March 2026, 82% of Americans said it is important for women to be represented in leadership positions. Including 61% who said very important and 21% who said somewhat important.
12% said it is not important, including 8% who said not too important and 4% who said not at all important. Another 6% were unsure.
