Roughly six in ten say most police officers are good ones

Roughly six-in-ten Americans (63%) agree that most police officers are good police officers, a May 2024 Verasight survey finds. That includes 27% who strongly agree.
About one-in-seven (14%) disagree, including 6% who strongly disagree, while 21% neither disagree nor agree and 2% say they don't know.
