Roughly three-quarters want a harder crackdown to preserve law and order

Roughly three-quarters of Americans (74%) agree that a tougher crackdown on troublemakers is needed to preserve law and order in light of recent crime and public disorders, according to a Verasight survey conducted January 18-24, 2024. That figure includes 30% who strongly agree.
Another 14% neither agree nor disagree, and 11% disagree, including 2% who strongly disagree.
