Six-in-ten Americans worry at least a fair amount about illegal immigration from Mexico

In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted May 16 to 17, 2023, 58% of Americans said they worry at least a fair amount about illegal immigrants entering the U.S. from Mexico. Including 35% who said a great deal and 24% who said a fair amount.
About four-in-ten said they worry only a little or not at all (42%), with 21% who said only a little and 21% who said not at all.
