The vast majority say political participation matters

A large majority of Americans place value on political participation, with 86% calling it at least somewhat important in a Verasight survey conducted Oct. 1-11, 2024.
That figure includes 34% who say it is very important, 27% who call it important, and 26% who say it is somewhat important. Just 7% say it is not important, and another 7% are not sure.
