Two-thirds support a law to charge people as domestic terrorists
Core finding
About two-thirds of Americans (65%) support a federal law that would let individuals be formally charged as domestic terrorists, including 33% who strongly agree, in a Verasight survey conducted April 10-15, 2024.
About a quarter (24%) neither agree nor disagree, while roughly one-in-ten (11%) disagree, including 6% who strongly disagree.
