Verasight surveyed 1,000 U.S. adults from August 13 to 18, 2026. 48.3% of Americans use generative AI for work or school at least sometimes, including 20.1% who use it often. Another 25.2% aren't working or in school.
Some 28.2% use it sometimes, 10.6% often and 9.5% very often, while 26.4% never do.
