Facebook is the most-used social platform among Americans

Core finding

More than eight-in-ten Americans (85%) say they have used Facebook in the past month, according to an April 2025 Verasight survey. Instagram follows at 64%, and TikTok at 45%.

Twitter/X (38%) and Reddit (32%) reach smaller past-month audiences, while Bluesky (9%) and TruthSocial (5%) register in single digits. Just 3% say they used none of these platforms in the past month.
