In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted April 10 to 15, 2024, 66% of Americans said they normally see a mix of likeminded and oppositional content on social media platforms.
About three-in-ten said they mostly see likeminded content, with 14% who said somewhat likeminded and 14% who said mostly likeminded (28%). Another 6% said they mostly see oppositional content, with 3% each who said somewhat or mostly oppositional.
