In a Verasight survey of 3,000 U.S. adults conducted Sept. 22 to 29, 2025, opinion on whether masculinity is under threat in the United States divides evenly, with 37% agreeing and 37% disagreeing.
About a quarter (26%) neither agree nor disagree. Disagreement runs firmer than agreement, with 25% strongly disagreeing versus 15% who strongly agree.
