Nearly half of Americans (47%) expect a company primarily serving consumers of a specific race to have leadership of that same race, including 6% who strongly agree, according to a May 2026 Verasight survey.
About three-in-ten (29%) disagree, including 12% who strongly disagree, while 24% are neutral.
