Six in ten expect to watch about as much live TV next year

Looking ahead to the coming year, six-in-ten Americans (63%) expect to watch about as much live television as they do now, according to a Verasight survey conducted Dec. 22, 2025 to Jan. 5, 2026.
Expectations of change are modest and roughly even: 13% anticipate watching more and about as many expect to watch less, while 12% do not plan to watch live TV at all.
