A slim majority say they don't usually get side effects from their meds

A slim majority of Americans (51%) reject the notion that they usually experience side effects from their medications, including 23% who strongly disagree, according to a May 2026 Verasight survey.
About a fifth (21%) say side effects are the norm for them, and 27% neither agree nor disagree.
