In a Verasight survey of 2,000 U.S. adults conducted Sept. 7 to 13, 2023, 70% of Americans said they were not afraid of COVID-19, somewhat not afraid, or neither afraid nor not afraid.
Three-in-ten said they were somewhat or very afraid of COVID-19 (30%).
