Federal and state prosecutors get low marks from seven-in-ten Americans

In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted Oct. 1 to 11, 2024, 70% of Americans rated the job being done by federal and state prosecutors as fair or poor. Including 42% who said a fair job and 29% who said a poor job.
About three-in-ten rated the job as excellent or good (30%), with 22% who said a good job and 8% who said an excellent job.
