Six in ten are unlikely to donate to a 2026 congressional candidate
Core finding
Six-in-ten Americans (61%) say they are unlikely to contribute to a candidate for Congress before the 2026 midterm elections, including 50% who are very unlikely, according to a July 2025 Verasight survey of 494 U.S. adults.
Nearly one-in-five (19%) say they are likely to give, while another 20% are neither likely nor unlikely.
