Nearly all Americans see themselves as good people

In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted May 16 to 17, 2023, 89% of Americans agreed that they are a good person. This includes 60% who strongly agree and 29% who somewhat agree.
Few Americans disagreed (4%), with 2% who somewhat disagree and 2% who strongly disagree. Another 6% were neutral.
