In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted May 1 to 4, 2026, 74% of Americans said they are not considering taking a psychedelic in the upcoming year.

Another 11% said they are curious but not sure, 8% did not know or had not thought about it, and 7% said yes.
