Americans spend more of their daily social media time on Facebook than anywhere else
Core finding
Half of Americans (50%) say Facebook is the social media platform they spend the most time on each day, more than double the share of any other platform, according to a Verasight survey conducted Nov. 19-22, 2024.
Instagram is the top daily platform for another 22% of adults, and TikTok for 12%. Fewer spend most of their social media time on X (5%), Snapchat (2%) or LinkedIn (1%), while 8% say their main platform is something else entirely.
