United Kingdom travel is uncommon among Americans

In a Verasight survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted Aug. 1 to 6, 2025, 27% of Americans said they had visited the United Kingdom, including England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland.
About three-quarters said they had not visited the United Kingdom (73%).
